Dear friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to express my warm welcome and sincere thanks to all friends and companies who participate in The 9th Multinational Urban Traffic Exhibition and International Exhibition for Parking Equipment (MUTRACONEX & INTER ¨C PARKING 2005).
MUTRACONEX grew up with the development and progress of society, science and technology. Developed constantly in nearly 20 years course, and successfully run 8 sessions so far under the joint efforts of Beijing Institute of Traffic Engineering (BITE) and New Technology Development Center-CAST. In respect of exhibition scale, number of visitors and exhibition results, MUTRACONEX has proven the largest Chinese trade fair in the field of urban traffic management and road transportation. In MUTRACONEX 2003, 50 overseas enterprises and 260 domestic companies displayed their new product and technology in the area of 10,000 square meters stand space.
In the new period, the strategy and comprehensive target of Chinese urban traffic is safety, orderly, unblocked, convenient, economy, high efficient and ecological. Especially After the successful application of Beijing for organizing 2008 Olympic Games, extensive urban road construction and improvement project are going on in full preparation, the modernization of road traffic management will be further speed up as well, especially the intellectual traffic system involves such numerous industries as the electron, communication, computer, car making, etc., will become another enormous economic industry following IT industry in the 21st century, the potential market contains enormous commercial opportunity. The MUTRACONEX & INTER-PARKING Exhibition will continue great efforts to offer good technological exchange and cooperation opportunity for Chinese and international enterprises. We expect continue and strengthen communication, promote understanding between people of the same trade at home and abroad, make joint efforts and greater contribution to the development of China's traffic industry.

Conditions of Participation in fairs and exhibitions organized by or in co-operation with New Technology Development Centre - CAST.
Application for stand space
- An applicant declares, by means of fully completed reservation form submitted to the organizers, that he/she
- is in agreement with the conditions of participation in force for the fair or exhibition (hereinafter called the exhibition) contained in the relevant Conditions of Participation, and the Exhibitors¡¯ Services Manual.
- No right to allocation of stand space may be derived from the application. In special cases the organizers may decide not to confirm an application, to allocate less stand space than has been applied for, to alter allocated stand space or to withdraw an allocation without the participant being entitled to claim compensation for damage incurred.
- The information requested on the reservation form must be provided in full. Without being liable to any damages, the organizers will have the right to refuse any goods or services or have goods or services removed from the exhibition forthwith, which have not been mentioned on the reservation form., or which they consider inadmissible by virtue of the Conditions of Participation, the Exhibitors¡¯ Services Manual.
Cancellations
- The organizers reserve the right at all times to change the dates of the exhibition or to cancel the exhibition altogether in cases of circumstances beyond their control (force majeure) without a participant having the right to compensation for any damage.
- No application can be cancelled or altered unilaterally by the participant. The organizers may comply with a request to cancel the application subject to the condition that the participants concerned pay a compensation for cancellation. This compensation amounts, at least, to:
¡ª25% of the stand rent, if the application is withdrawn after the advance invoice has been sent;
¡ª50% if the application is withdrawn after the participant has been notified of the allocation of stand space;
¡ª75% if the application is withdrawn less than two months before the first day of construction of the exhibition;
¡ª 100% if the application is withdrawn less than two weeks before the first day of construction of the exhibition.
Stand rent and terms of payment
- Unless otherwise stipulated in the Conditions of Participation, stand rent shall be paid in 2 installments, as follows:
¡ª50% on the number of square meters applied for- within 14 days of the date on the advance invoice;
¡ªthe balance ¨C within 14 days of the date on the final invoice.
Should the final invoice be dated less than thirty days before the first stand construction day, the due stand rent must be paid by return.
- If a participant does not meet his financial obligations, the organizers will be entitled not to proceed with the allocation of stand space or not to make stand space available, without prejudice to the organizers¡¯ claim for full payment of the amounts due.
- The organizers are entitled to hand over the collection of the participants¡¯ debts; all costs, both judicial and non-judicial, shall be borne by the participant , plus the statutory rate of interest calculated from the date on which the amounts payable were due.
Liability
- Goods shall be in the exhibition building or adjacent grounds for the account and at the risk of the participant. The organizers do not undertake the insurance of the goods. The organizers cannot be held liable for any damage from whatever cause to goods or persons caused by or connected with participation in the exhibition. Nor can the participant or his staff hold the organizers liable for damage to third parties caused by the use of the stand. The participant shall indemnify the organizers against all claims by third parties on his account.£Ý
- The participant will be liable for and will be required to be insured against any damage whatever caused by fault or default on his part, or by his personnel or by his entries in any way whatsoever to goods and/or persons working with or upon the instructions of the organizers. The participant shall indemnify the organizers against any claims that others might possibly enforce.
Final provisions ¡¡¡¡The organizers will have the right to take the following action, without an injunction and without intervention of a court, if necessary at the participant¡¯s expense, against a participant who acts in contravention of any provision of the Conditions of Participation, and the Exhibitors¡¯ Services Manual, or who does not comply with a direction given by or on behalf of the organizers:
¡¡¡¡¡ªrefuse the person concerned admission to the exhibition;
¡¡¡¡¡ªhave his stand closed and/or cleared;
¡¡¡¡¡ªkeep possession of the goods display and of anything built or fitted by the participant;
¡¡¡¡without the participant asserting a right to any restitution or reparation.
